I just did a recent post about some obscure race cars but if you want to do one, go ahead and use the " cars that time forgot " tag and maybe "CTTF" for short. I swear, every time I write one, people come on saying they already knew it and it isn't obscure.........and then like two months later I remind people that that car exists and is relevant to the discussion.
I'm trying to have a small repository of searchable knowledge for these oddballs on the internet. For whatever permanence it's worth. Most of my articles end up being #1 or #2 on google if you search for that car now.
My suggestions
-Gordon Keeble (just.......just google it)
-Panther Solo/Solo2
-Montverdi (again, just google)
-Daihatsu Charade Detomaso 926R

The SVO Mustang and all of the Turbo Mopars need some love.

You could write an article on some ugly old French car with seemingly no redeeming qualities except for its hideous looks. Fans will just jump out of the woodwork! Just kidding. To each his own.

How about these two closely related cousins? Group B glory crossed with a little bit of 'Murica.

Gotta include the Dekon Monzas in that story. Can't share a pic on mobile, but needless to say they're ridiculous. Particularly the Bud car.

As a whole, the Opel Manta, GM Monza/Sunbird/Skyhawk/Starfire were such underdogs of cars. So much potential there.
